Rates and Insurance
I do not take insurance directly. However, depending on your insurance plan, therapy services could be covered partially or fully. Please contact your insurance company to verify the compensation of therapy services. I can provide a superbill (a detailed invoice outlining the services you received) for you to submit reimbursement to your insurance company.
目前我不接受商业医疗保险，但是我会提供心理咨询费用的收据，您可以将收据提交到保险公司进行报销。大多数拥有United Healthcare, Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna等公司PPO保险的来访者，都能成功报销一部分的费用。对于不在保险网络中的咨询师，大部分保险公司都会报销50-80%左右的费用。
I accept all major credit and debit cards and all Healthcare Savings Account debit cards as forms of payment. Payment is collected at the end of your session.
I offer limited sliding scale spots for client that is in need. Please indicate your needs during inquiry.
If for some reason, you are unable to make it to the scheduled session, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. Otherwise, a full rate of the session fee will be charged.
Questions to ask your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
Does my insurance plan cover "out of network" mental health benefit? How much do they reimburse? What does the process look like?
Is there any deductible I have to meet first?
Is there a limited number of sessions to be covered by the insurance company every calendar year?
Do I need a referral or written approval from my Primary Care Physician in order to be covered for services?
Are there any documents that I need to get from my counselor before starting service?
Is there a specific billing code that should be used?
Does my insurance plan cover Telehealth sessions? Is there any difference in the coverage/reimbursement of in-person therapy and Telehealth sessions?
Does my benefit vary if it is individual therapy versus family/couples therapy?
It is the client's responsibility to know and verify their own insurance benefits. Client is responsible for anything that insurance doesn't cover.
